Why proficiency testing?
Proficiency testing proves the reproducibility of an assay across labs. In this test, every participating lab will determine the number of IFN-γ secreting antigen-specific T cells in provided PBMC samples using their lab-specific ELISpot setup. After receiving the final report, you will be able to compare your results with other labs. On top of that, you’ll also be contributing to a more statistically robust data set – giving you even better results.
This united effort ensures the reliability of immune monitoring performed at different labs. You’ll also be able to ensure alignment with collaborators before running a multi-center study and grow your credibility among partners and regulatory bodies.
