Product specifications

Intended use

This monoclonal antibody enables activation of human T cells in immunoassays such as ELISpot and FluoroSpot.

Serum/Plasma samples

Recommendation

CD3-2 can be used for cell stimulation in solution or on a solid phase. Recommended concentration for optimal cytokine production is 100 ng/ml. The antibody is also useful for immunohistochemistry. For flow cytometry, stain cells before paraformaldehyde fixation.

CD3

Analyte description

CD3 (cluster of differentiation 3) is a T cell co-receptor that plays an important role in T cell activation and signal transduction. The CD3 complex is composed of four chains: two CD3ε, one CD3γ, and one CD3δ chain. CD3 forms together with the TCR (α/β or γ/δ heterodimer) and two zeta (ζ) chains the T cell receptor (TCR) complex. CD3 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
