Specificity

This kit is based on a matched pair of mAbs specific for human IL-1α (pro-form and active form).

Cross-reactivity

The assay shows no cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1β or IL-18.

Shipping and Storage

Shipping

Shipped at ambient temperature.

Storage

Store antibodies and enzyme conjugate at 4-8 °C upon receipt. Plates may be kept at room temperature.

Shelf lifeAt least 18 months from date of receipt.
Human PBMC were incubated for 20 hours in an ELISpot plate. Cells were unstimulated (20,000 cells/well) or stimulated with LPS (5000 cells/well). The number of cells secreting IL-1α was analyzed by ELISpot.
